My friend just got back from the UK, and she bought me Champagne truffles from Thorntons, and until I get over my little chocolate-orgasm, they are the bestest, yummiest, most delicate and decadent things in the world! When I am ruler of the universe, there will always be thorntons where I can get them.

Giradelli all the way! When I can get it. And yes, that wasn't one of the choices. Sorry. And... hmmm, not sure if that's spelled right.

Well, being a Belgian, i will say that our chocolate is one of the best indeed, and there are many kinds. One of them has a grek name: it is Leonidas. Not cheep though.
Switz chocolate is certain one of the best. I don't know about the US or UK regarding Easter, but hear, on Easter, they make chocolat eggs, chikens or rabbits. They are delicious.
So, off with me now before i go to the store and get some and my scales will sey tomorrow: "No! One at a time! hahahaha

Godiva, godiva, godiva!!! Followed, of course, by lint, cadberry, hershey, and nesley.

Post 18 by laurliz1186 (Generic Zoner) on Monday, 21-Aug-2006 14:45:33

Oh and of course dove!!!

Post 19 by PurringTurtle (Generic Zoner) on Saturday, 23-Dec-2006 18:28:07

Dove.. and again I say Dove... pretty much tied with Cadbury. This is of course everyday chocolate... When I can spend, See's, Swiss, There's some stuff called Mark Avenue, that is small, and yummy. My mom's a co-owner of a chocolate shop, so its a good thing for me that I live in another city.

Well, according to those with gourmet chocolate tastes, Hershey and Nestle have very little actual chocolate in them, so they're very common and popular and cheap but there's stuff out there that's a lot better. I can't say a word about Godiva. Now, until I find something different, as in something imported, even perhaps Canadian, it's Dove dark chocolate for me, although I'll eat the milk chocolate as well. I've never had chocolate so creamy and it makes Hershey seem so gritty and rough. I'll have to see what imported brands my local stores can come up with.

I think dark chocolate is a little better than white chocolate although, I like them both.

Post 27 by Polka dots and Moonbeams (I've now got the bronze prolific poster award! now going for the silver award!) on Sunday, 31-Dec-2006 14:57:13

As a treat, I really love ghirardelli. There's this candy bar ourt there called Milka; quite tasty and different from the everyday hershey's. Love york peppomint patties from the freezer though....delicious!

BTW, dark chocolate is the best!
